WOYWW #214 - Finally a project!

Can it really be Wednesday already? Time flies when you are without a modem. Really! I really love What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. Hostess, Julia Dunnit atStampin' Ground has created this awesome web of participants that allows us to peek inside each other's studios every week. Just click -WOYWW to see what it's all about.

This is my desk this morning. Everything spread out so I can get a First Year baby album put together for a shower gift. I do these in 6x6 and they are perfect for a new mom to capture the changes in their little one from month to month without a full fledged scrapbook. All they need to add is a picture and a bit of journaling. Everything else is there. I've done a couple of these in the past for on-line baby showers.  HERE is a link back to one I did last year.

Cheyanne's theme flows in the line of Shabby Chic. Although I love the style I've not played with the colors extensively so I'm looking forward to this. The bling in the foreground are for small butterfly bodies. I also have some flower ideas on my Pinterest board to look at and maybe incorporate into the layouts. Those kitchen aid mixer brads in the back are from Adrian's scrapbook. She learned how to put the kitchen aid together at 3 years old.

So my day is packed. For those of you who've been following along, my novella, Somewhere Down the Line has made it to the Finals at the Boroughs Publishing "What's In A Name?" competition. Votes are the only thing keeping me away from my first publishing contract. So if you have a minute, I would appreciate your help. You can VOTE 1x per day every day through Sunday night.

I'm off to get started. I'll hop around your blogs when I take a lunch break.
Creative Blessings!
Kelly
