STILL CATCHING UP!

 Hey everyone!

I'm almost caught up with everything. I have Q & A out to Broken Jukebox Media for Rigby Summer. I think you're really going to like her. Also still working on the Q & A with Kristian and Winterkill Band. They have a new album coming out that is smooth southern rock at it's finest.

I'll be working all day tomorrow on The Party List post so that goes up on Thursday. Everything else will fall in to place.

November is dedicated to writing the first draft of a new book. I'm working hard on Book 2 of my Planned to Perfection series and determined to get that finished above all else. Hoping to write the bulk in this first 17 days that Bob is gone.

Hang with me... I'm almost there!

CATCHING UP!

 Hey all...

I apologize for the delay. I spent the last couple of weeks preparing for a speaking engagement at a writer's conference and just didn't get any blog posts done.

I do have a couple things coming up this week and next. The Party List will resume in November and December. Then I'll take January/ February off to get business stuff in order for the new year. There are not a lot of shows in those two months to cover, so we'll just take a slow ride into 2022.

If not tomorrow, then on Wednesday I'll have a review of a book by a dear friend, Sharon Kizziah-Holmes. If you know anything about the early country music, you may know the name - Tall Tom. That man was amazing. When I started reading his story, written by his baby girl, so many memories of artists we've lost came flooding back. I hope they will for you as well.

Next week, WinterKill Band kicks us off with a new interview and a brand new album. You're going to love this one!

I have other new albums waiting their turn so it's going to be a busy couple of months.

I hope you'll hang with me.

WHAT'S COMING UP!

Pixabay Image by M. Maggs

Good morning, friends!

Aside from the 'must-do' items, I've not worked a lot the past three weeks. Bob wass home, can you tell? I was traveling the first week he was home, to see grandbabies. I did spend time on that trip getting back into my manuscript so that I can get Book 2 of my series finished. Time just seems to fly. I don't see the book being published by end of June, sadly. But as I mentioned on my author blog this morning, I'd rather put out a quality product then hit a deadline.

Tomorrow, I'll be posting a VERY delayed review of a CD by Josie Bello. I love the cover of Have Purpose Live Long, drawing me in to the album. This CD came across my desk last fall and just got lost in the shuffle. So this is filler until I get back on track next week with Out of the Chute and Turntable Tuesday combos.

The Party List will resume June 3rd. Live venues are opening back up. I will also be including 'streamed' shows with links to how you can join in.

GUESTS ARE COMING! & Important Note!

Hi everyone!

I've been in seriious dig-out mode of my office/ studio. Thought I'd be on the home stretch by now. Sadly, I managed to flood the basement last night so I've a set back to accomplish much else before my sister arrives on Wednesday for a 5-day visit.

If I'm lucky, I can get a couple of posts up before Bob gets home (2 days after my sister leaves)  Yep.. when it rains it pours!

thankfully the Party Lists are posted and ready to roll.

On that note, I'll be adding a new Disclaimer to The Party List
Please check artist website to make sure dates/ locations haven't changed. I schedule the posts a month in advance. Sometimes, like with john Arthur martinez gig last Friday, locations change! Follow them on social media as well to catch changes!

Now, to attack the basement floor with the shop vac!

UPDATE

Good morning, everyone!

As you can tell, things have been a bit wonky of late. Since this is not my paying gig, I had to put my book writing ahead of everything else. The book, An Ozarks Christmas, is uploaded to Kindle and KOPD, ready for release in October.

The hero, Brendan Keane, is one of the highest paid entertainers in the business. He has some tough choices to make. In a couple of weeks I'll be telling you more about the book, introducing you to the Hero and Heroine and how the country song that inspired the story - almost 25 years ago!

As far as this forum goes, I have some great things coming up. I'm overdue for an interview with Tim Atwood. Man, have you heard his latest CD? I'll enclose a video clip. Great stuff!

I'm also pleased to announce I'll be interviewing Jesse and Noah Bellamy as well as reviewing their latest album. I'm so proud of these guys. They do the family name proud.

So give me a couple days to get acclimated then I'll be back with all this fabulousness.

HIATUS UPDATE!

Thank you all for your patience while my arm heals. I'm still having some stress issues. I will be resuming the blog in full force on Monday June 20th.

The Party List will resume on Thursday June 23rd. However, I will only be doing links on days that my arm will allow. Overuse of the mouse really stresses the tendons/ nerves so once the pain starts to move in, I stop.

We have some great reviews coming up:

Libby Koch,
Asleep at the Wheel (Out of the Chute, CD Review, Concert Coverage)
Loretta Lynn
Brian Gowan

THE PARTY LIST- December 4-12 COMING SOON!

With the computer crash followed by SIX WEEKS of being sick, I'm still in recovery mode with both the computer and my body. I'm getting there but it has been a slow process.

I am working on The Party List this morning and will post soon.
Thank you for your patience these past few weeks
